I am a little obsessive at times. I am very curious. I am committed to social justice. I usually cheer for the underdog. I would rather hang out with people on the margins of society, while at the same time want to be able to relate to power people so I can make a positive influence. As a United Methodist pastor, I am committed to the institutional church. But I want to use the institution as a means to make a positive change in the world, to foster better community life. I am married and have three boys. The first two we adopted. I am presently working on a D.Min. degree at United Theological Seminary. My project is on how to create a space where hospitality can take place, where strangers can connect.
Here I go. I've been thinking about blogging for quite a while and have been hesitant because I was concerned about the time it would take. But, I've decided to just go for it. I've got something to say. And I want to hear other's thoughts. So, why not give it a try.
